How do goals work? What counts towards my annual goal?

Goals in CookShelf let you set a target for how many recipes you want to cook in a year – it's a fun way to challenge yourself to use your cookbooks more.

What counts: Every time you mark a recipe as "cooked" in the app, it counts toward your goal – as long as the cook date falls within the current year. It doesn't matter which book the recipe is from or whether you've made it before. To mark a recipe as cooked, tap the pot icon on the recipe page and make sure you set a cook date.

How to set a goal: Head to the Me tab, tap Goals & Stats, and you'll see the option to set your annual cooking goal. Pick a number that feels right for you – whether that's 12 recipes (one a month) or 100.

Tracking progress: Go to the Me tab to see your cook history and how you're pacing against your goal.
