Can I give CookShelf as a gift? Or how do I redeem a gift?

Yes! We offer gift subscriptions. As a gift recipient, you can redeem your gift by following these steps:

1. Download CookShelf on your phone
2. Sign into the app, but don't start a free trial — when you see a paywall, tap the "X" in the top right
3. Go to the Settings menu, click "Redeem gift," and enter your unique gift code

Keep in mind that gift subscriptions only work for people who don't already have an active subscription to CookShelf or Eat Your Books. If you receive a gift and have an auto-renewing subscription already, cancel your subscription, and when the current subscription term expires, you'll be able to redeem your gift.
