Why are only a few recipes (or no recipes!) showing up for my book?

There are a couple of reasons this might be happening:

Your book may have a preview index. Some books in our catalog have what we call a "preview index" – just a handful of recipes rather than the full list. If you're seeing 3–10 recipes for a book you know has many more, this is likely what's going on. You can request a full index directly from the book's page in the app.

Your book might not be indexed at all. If you're seeing zero recipes, the book may be in our catalog (so you can add it to your shelf) but we haven't indexed it yet. You can request indexing from the book's page – and each request helps us prioritize what to work on next.

How indexing priority works: We index cookbooks manually, and we prioritize based on how many members own a book and how many requests it's received. So the more people who add a book to their shelf and request indexing, the sooner it moves up the queue.

What you can do:

• Tap "Request index" on the book's page to let us know you'd like it prioritized
• If something looks wrong with the index (like missing recipes in a book that is fully indexed), send us a message to let us know
