How do I request a refund?

We're happy to help if things aren't working out. How to request a refund depends on where you subscribed.

If you subscribed through the iOS app (Apple): Apple handles all App Store billing directly. To request a refund, go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, find the CookShelf charge, and submit your request there. We're unable to process refunds for Apple subscriptions on our end.

If you subscribed through the Android app (Google Play): You can request a refund through Google Play: open the Google Play app, tap your profile icon, go to Payments & subscriptions, then Budget & order history. Find the CookShelf charge, tap "Report a problem," and follow the steps. If you run into any issues with the Google process, send us a message and we can process the refund for you directly.

If you subscribed through Eat Your Books or our website: Send us a message and we'll look into it for you.

Refunds are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Please include a brief note about why you're requesting a refund so we can help as quickly as possible.
