My subscription lapsed. Will I lose my books, bookmarks, or cooks?

Your data is safe. If your subscription lapses, your bookmarks, cooking history, notes, and photos are all preserved. Nothing is deleted. If you resubscribe, you'll have full access again and your books will be just where you left them.

What changes is your access: without an active subscription, you'll be limited to the free tier, which supports up to 5 books on your shelf. If you had more than 5 books, you won't be able to access the app until your shelf is within the 5-book limit. You can send us a message and we'll help you remove some books so you can get back in. Keep in mind that any books we removed to get you within the free limit will need to be re-added – they won't automatically reappear.
